The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Centerburg Trojans to 0 in the Johnnies non-league win on Wednesday.

The Johnnies now hold a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host Heath for a Licking County test on Thursday, May 15. Johnstown-Monroe will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.

With the defeat, Centerburg drops to 11-8 on the year. The Trojans host East Knox (Howard, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Knox Morrow Athletic test on Thursday, May 15. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 12-11. East Knox won 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Lucas (Lucas, OH)
