Illinois High School Baseball - Milford holds off Herscher

May 14, 2025: Herscher, IL 60941

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) and the host Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), saw Milford's baseball team gain a win over Herscher by a tally of 4-0.

The Bearcats (14-15) will now prepare for their battle against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets enter the Vermilion Valley battle with a 16-13 record. In their last battle, Oakwood held off Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman (Georgetown, IL), 12-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 19. Herscher will attempt to upgrade on its 28-6 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 22-7 record after their 6-4 league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL).
