The University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) baseball got by the visiting Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI), 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomfield Hills for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. University Liggett will clash with a Black Hawks team coming off a 15-3 league win over Farmington (Farmington, MI). The Black Hawks record now stands at 17-12.
With the defeat, Western International drops to 18-7 on the year. The Cowboys travel to King (Detroit, MI) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. King lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI)
