Ohio High School Baseball - Chippewa edges Coventry

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Chippewa Chipps baseball team scored a close 11-8 win over the Coventry Comets.

The Chipps (13-4) will now prepare for their game against Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Red Devils go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record.

Next, the Comets play the Fairless Falcons (Navarre, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 17. Coventry will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 4-8 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Triway (Wooster, OH).
