The Portsmouth Clippers lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Alvirne Broncos to 4 in the Clippers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Clippers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Pinkerton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 17.

With the loss, Alvirne falls to 1-9 on the year. The Broncos travel to Timberlane (Plaistow, NH) to clash with the Owls in a Division II challenge on Thursday, May 15. The Owls go into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Timberlane lost 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Winnacunnet (Hampton, NH)
