In Wednesday's league test, the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), by a count of 14-7.

Next up, the Clippers battle the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a Division 1 (State) test, on Saturday, May 17. Cumberland will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Quakers enter the test with a 9-2 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Sharon (Sharon, MA).

The Patriots (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles come into the Division 1 (State) game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Barrington tipped North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 9-8, in a league game.
