In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Hawken Hawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 triumph over the Roosevelt Rough Riders.

The Hawks (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Chardon held off West Geauga (Chesterland, OH), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
