Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ), 6-4 in a league game.

With the victory, Newton improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Braves travel to Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, May 16. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 6-8.

The Highlanders now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they host River Dell for a non-league contest on Friday, May 16.
