The Academy of Holy Angels Stars softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Mahtomedi Zephyrs to 1 in the Stars non-league win on Wednesday.

The Stars now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eagan for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15. Academy of Holy Angels will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 4-3 league win over Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Mahtomedi moves to 6-13 on the season. The Zephyrs host St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 1-18. St. Anthony Village lost 8-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN)
