The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) and the host Albany Falcons (Albany, NY), observed Shenendehowa's softball team prevail over Albany by a tally of 19-1.

The Plainsmen (16-2) will now prepare for their bout against South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 14-3 record. In their last bout, South Glens Falls was routed by Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY), 4-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout, on Thursday, May 15. Albany will attempt to advance on its 3-15 season record. The Silver Warriors go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 11-1 league loss to Averill Park (Averill Park, NY).
