Ohio High School Softball - Austintown-Fitch bounces Lakeview

May 14, 2025: Cortland, OH 44410

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) and the host Lakeview Bulldogs (Cortland, OH), observed Austintown-Fitch's softball team prevail over Lakeview by a tally of 14-5.

The Falcons (18-4) will now prepare for their bout against Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 3-15 record. In their last bout, Stow-Munroe Falls was routed by Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH), 11-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) in a Northeast Eight Athletic bout, on Thursday, May 15. Lakeview will attempt to advance on its 17-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH).
