Connecticut High School Softball - Avon sneaks past Lewis Mills

In Wednesday's league match, the host Avon Falcons softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Lewis Mills Spartans.

The Falcons (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Hall (West Hartford, CT). The Titans come into the Central Connecticut - South match with a 0-5 record.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South match, on Friday, May 16. Lewis Mills will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Lancers come into the match with a 10-5 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Manchester (Manchester, CT).
