In Wednesday's non-league test, the Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats (Evansville, IN) softball squad got by the visiting Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN), by a tally of 3-2.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Evansville Harrison Warriors (Evansville, IN) in a Southern Indiana test, on Thursday, May 15. Evansville Mater Dei will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 3-11 record after their 7-1 league loss to Evansville North (Evansville, IN).

The Pioneers (10-9) will now prepare for their test against North Posey (Poseyville, IN). The Vikings go into the Pocket test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, North Posey held off Pike Central (Petersburg, IN), 12-6, in a league test.
