The Covington Buccs overwhelmed the visiting Catholic Central Irish softball squad by a count of 24-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Buccs meet the Fort Loramie Redskins (Fort Loramie, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 19. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Redskins go into the challenge with a 14-14 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Cedarville (Cedarville, OH).
The Irish (0-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedarville (Cedarville, OH). The Indians go into the Ohio Heritage South challenge with a 10-11 record.
