Illinois High School Softball - Herscher bounces Clifton Central

May 14, 2025: Herscher, IL 60941

In Wednesday's non-league bout, the host Herscher Tigers softball team scored a tight 13-6 victory over the Clifton Central Comets.

The Tigers (18-11) will now prepare for their bout against St. Anne (St. Anne, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 3-17 record. In their last bout, St. Anne was routed by Grant Park (Grant Park, IL), 13-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Donovan Wildcats (Donovan, IL) in a River Valley bout, on Thursday, May 15. Clifton Central will attempt to advance on its 14-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 5-1 league win over Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL).
