The ConVal Cougars softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Souhegan Sabers to 5 in the Cougars league win on Wednesday.

The Cougars now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merrimack Valley for a Division II battle on Friday, May 16. ConVal will confront a The Pride team coming off a 5-0 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, NH). The The Pride record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Souhegan moves to 1-10 on the season. The Sabers travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, NH) to confront the Raiders in a Division II battle on Friday, May 16. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 4-5. Lebanon lost 5-0 in their recent league battle against Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH)
