The Edinburgh Lancers softball squad (Edinburgh, IN), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN)

With the triumph, Southwestern improves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Rebels host Milan (Milan, IN) to face the Indians in a Ohio River Valley contest on Thursday, May 15. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 16-8. Milan won 10-0 in their recent league contest against South Ripley (Versailles, IN)

The Lancers now hold a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Center Grove for a non-league contest on Friday, May 16. Edinburgh will face a Trojans squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 15-3.
