New York High School Softball - La Salle Institute topped by Ichabod Crane

Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), 9-1 in a league game.
With the triumph, Ichabod Crane improves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Riders travel to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY) to play the Ravens in a Section 2 Colonial game on Thursday, May 15. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 3-13. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk lost 5-2 in their recent league game against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY)
The Cadets now hold a 0-11 record.
