The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) and the visiting Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack (Chicago, IL), observed Montini Catholic's softball team get by Saint Ignatius College Prep by a tally of 6-3.

The Broncos (14-14) will now prepare for their bout against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Friars go into the GCAC- Red bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, Fenwick was routed by IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL), 8-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wolfpack clash with the Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. Saint Ignatius College Prep will attempt to advance on its 11-17 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Jones (Chicago, IL).
