The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Plainville (Plainville, CT). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 9-6 record. In their last bout, Plainville was routed by Maloney (Meriden, CT), 9-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Nor'easters battle the Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 16. Newington will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 5-0 league loss to Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT).
