The Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) softball the host Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), 5-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Ironmen now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Champaign Central for a Big Twelve outing on Thursday, May 15. Normal Community will encounter a Maroons team coming off a 5-2 league win over Normal West (Normal, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 22-1.
With the loss, Olympia moves to 15-9 on the season. The Spartans host Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, May 16.
