In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting West Stokes Wildcats softball team scored a tight 5-2 win over the North Stanly Comets.

The Wildcats (18-5) will now prepare for their match against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 19-5 record. In their last match, Randleman nipped Owen (Black Mountain, NC), 4-3, in a non-league match.
