The Providence Academy Lions softball team scored 13 runs and held the host West Lutheran Warriors to 5 in the Lions non-league win on Wednesday.

The Lions now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. Providence Academy will confront a Raiders team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, West Lutheran moves to 11-4 on the season. The Warriors host Spectrum (Elk River, MN) to confront the Sting in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15. The Sting come into the battle with a record of 12-0. Spectrum won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN)
