The Simley Spartans softball team scored 7 runs and held the host St. Paul Central Minutemen to 4 in the Spartans non-league win on Wednesday.
The Spartans now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tartan for a Classic Suburban battle on Saturday, May 17. Simley will confront a Titans team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Titans record now stands at 3-15.
With the loss, St. Paul Central moves to 7-6 on the season. The Minutemen host St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN) to confront the Aggies in a non-league battle on Friday, May 16. The Aggies come into the battle with a record of 12-2.
