Ohio High School Baseball - Cardinal Mooney edges Alliance

The Cardinal Mooney Cardinals baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Alliance Aviators to 3 in the Cardinals non-league win on Thursday.

The Cardinals now hold a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they host University School for a non-league test on Friday, May 15. Cardinal Mooney will play a Preppers team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Perkins (Sandusky, OH). The Preppers record now stands at 18-4.

With the defeat, Alliance drops to 15-8 on the year. The Aviators travel to McKinley (Canton, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, May 18. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 11-12.
