Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN), 10-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Apple Valley upgrades its record to 12-6 on the year.
The Spartans now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to South St. Paul for a non-league game on Monday, May 18. Richfield will play a Packers squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN). The Packers record now stands at 5-12.
