The Union City Indians softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Randolph Southern Rebels to 2 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Union City improves its record to 2-14 on the year. The Indians host Tri (Straughn, IN) to clash with the Titans in a Tri-Eastern game on Wednesday, May 19. The Titans come into the game with a record of 16-6. Tri won 6-4 in their recent league game against Knightstown (Knightstown, IN)

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN) in a Mid-Eastern game, on Tuesday, May 18. Randolph Southern will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 11-10 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, IN).
