St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Salida Spartans (Salida, CO), 14-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Pirates travel to Calhan (Calhan, CO) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 16. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-13. Calhan lost 21-1 in their recent league test against Peyton (Peyton, CO)

With the defeat, Salida falls to 9-12 on the season. The Spartans host Centauri (La Jara, CO) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 16. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 8-13. Centauri lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO)
