The Shelton Gaels lacrosse squad (Shelton, CT), was overwhelmed 17-5 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Branford Hornets (Branford, CT)
Coming up next, the Hornets meet the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 18. Branford will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 12-7 league win over Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT).
The Gaels now sport a 11-5 record.
