North Carolina High School Soccer - Owen nudges Providence Grove

May 15, 2023: Black Mountain, NC 28711

Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warhorses confront the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 18. Owen will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Pride enter the challenge with a 17-1 record after their 11-0 non-league win over McMichael (Mayodan, NC).

The Patriots now possess a 12-8 record.
