In Monday's league challenge, the North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Tri-County Cavaliers (Wolcott, IN), by a final score of 12-5.
With the win, North Newton upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Benton Central (Oxford, IN) to battle the Bison in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Benton Central won 11-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Delphi Community (Delphi, IN)
