Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) and the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), witnessed Antioch's softball squad tip Taft by a count of 10-5.

The Sequoits now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wauconda for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 16.

With the loss, Taft moves to 24-7 on the season. The Eagles host Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 16. The Knights go into the match with a record of 1-1. Prospect lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Taft (Chicago, IL)
