The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the visiting Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), saw Lake Central's softball squad nip Marist by a count of 10-4.
The Indians now sport a 18-2 record. They take the field next when they host La Porte for a match on Tuesday, May 16. Lake Central will face a Slicers squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Slicers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Marist falls to 0-1 on the campaign.
