Illinois High School Softball - Woodstock North gets by Carmel

The Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) softball nipped the visiting Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), 1-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Thunder (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the non-league bout with a 5-20 record. In their last bout, Plano was nipped by Kaneland (Maple Park, IL), 16-1, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Carmel falls to 19-3 on the campaign. The Corsairs travel to Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL) to face the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 17-12. Dundee-Crown won 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL)
