New Jersey High School Softball - Donovan Catholic bounces Marlboro

Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Griffins now sport a 25-1 record. They take the field next when they host Red Bank Catholic for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. Donovan Catholic will face a Caseys squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Caseys record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Marlboro falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
