In Monday's non-league contest, the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), by a margin of 9-0.
With the triumph, Dunlap moves its record to 17-7 on the year. The Eagles host Morton (Morton, IL) to play the Potters in a Mid-Illini contest on Tuesday, May 16. The Potters come into the contest with a record of 4-20. Morton lost 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Normal University (Normal, IL)
In their next game, the Silver Streaks play the Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) in a Western Big 6 contest, on Wednesday, May 17. Galesburg will attempt to move on its 3-19 season record.
