Skyline Thunderbirds (Pratt, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Elkhart Wildcats (Elkhart, KS), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunderbirds now own a 10-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spearville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Skyline will face a Lancers squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Stanton County (Johnson, KS). The Lancers record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Elkhart falls to 1-14 on the campaign.
