Thousand Islands Vikings (Clayton, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host General Brown Lions (Dexter, NY), 12-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lowville for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17.

With the loss, General Brown falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Sandy Creek (Sandy Creek, NY) to face the Comets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 11-2.
