In Monday's non-league outing, the host Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains softball team scored a close 7-0 win over the Mohawk Warriors.

Coming up next, the Chieftains battle the Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River outing, on Tuesday, May 16. Hopewell-Loudon will attempt to upgrade on its 26-0 season record. The Senecas enter the outing with a 11-6 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Carey (Carey, OH).
