Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tri Titans (Straughn, IN), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Muncie Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Knightstown will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 22-3 non-league loss to Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Tri falls to 13-10 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Union City (Union City, IN) to face the Indians in a Tri-Eastern challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 10-14. Union City won 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN)
