The Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) softball nipped the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Trojans (7-8) will now prepare for their bout against Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI). The Eagles go into the Southeastern - Red bout with a 5-12 record.

The Railsplitters now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Saline for a non-league bout on Monday, May 22.
