The Lunenburg Central Chargers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host William Campbell Generals to 0 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lunenburg Central moves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Chargers host Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA) to clash with the Statesmen in a James River game on Wednesday, May 17. The Statesmen come into the game with a record of 18-1. Randolph-Henry won 10-0 in their recent league game against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA)

In their next game, the Generals clash with the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a Dogwood game, on Wednesday, May 17. William Campbell will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Governors come into the game with a 10-7 record after their 6-0 league win over Gretna (Gretna, VA).
