The Avon Falcons baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Bristol Eastern Lancers to 8 in the Falcons non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Falcons (13-5) will now prepare for their match against East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 3-13 record.
The Lancers (7-12) will now prepare for their match against Platt (Meriden, CT). The Panthers go into the Central Connecticut - South match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, Platt tipped Simsbury (Simsbury, CT), 10-0, in a non-league match.
