In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) baseball team walloped the visiting Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes (Bloomfield Hills, MI), by a tally of 13-3.

The Knights now hold a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond for a non-league outing on Friday, May 17. University Liggett will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 8-4 league win over Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-6.

Coming up next, the Cranes encounter the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 18. Cranbrook Kingswood will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 11-15 record after their 5-0 league win over Taylor (Taylor, MI).
