The Farmington River Hawks baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting East Hartford Hornets to 3 in the River Hawks non-league victory on Wednesday.
The River Hawks (8-11) will now prepare for their match against New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Golden Hurricanes go into the Central Connecticut - West match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, New Britain was overwhelmed by Bristol Central (Bristol, CT), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Hornets (3-14) will now prepare for their match against Avon (Avon, CT). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 13-5 record. In their last match, Avon edged Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT), 12-8, in a non-league match.
