North Carolina High School Baseball - North Stanly gets by Forbush

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) and the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), saw North Stanly's baseball squad beat Forbush by a margin of 2-0.

Coming up next, the Comets play the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 17. North Stanly will attempt to better on its 24-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 28-0 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Bandys (Catawba, NC).

The Falcons now sport a 25-3 record.
