In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Newton South Lions baseball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Wayland Warriors.
The Lions (8-8) will now prepare for their game against Weston (Weston, MA). The Wildcats go into the Dual County game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Weston tipped Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA), 9-8, in a league game.
The Warriors (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA). The Aztecs go into the non-league game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Assabet Valley RVT tipped North (Worcester, MA), 13-3, in a non-league game.
