The The Pingry School Big Blue baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting North Plainfield Canucks to 7 in the Big Blue non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Big Blue (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Terriers go into the non-league match with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Delaware Valley knocked off Princeton (Princeton, NJ), 8-2, in a non-league outing.
Next, the Canucks face the Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 16. North Plainfield will attempt to advance on its 5-16 season record. The Pioneers enter the outing with a 10-13 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ).
