Illinois High School Volleyball - Alton over Bunker Hill

Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Bunker Hill Minutemen (Bunker Hill, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Redbirds clash with the Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 16. Alton will attempt to advance on its 7-20 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 8-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Belleville West (Belleville, IL).

With the loss, Bunker Hill drops to 5-9 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL) to clash with the Explorers in a non-league match on Thursday, May 16. The Explorers go into the contest with a record of 7-16. Marquette Catholic lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Belleville West (Belleville, IL)
