The Lyons Lions topped the visiting St. Francis Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 28-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lockport for a non-league test on Friday, May 17. Lyons will confront a Porters team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Porters record now stands at 29-4.
The Spartans (26-8) will now prepare for their test against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders enter the Chicago Catholic - Blue test with a 22-12 record. In their last test, Brother Rice was knocked off by Marist (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
